Psychology Services at Plexus Medical & Cosmetic in South Yarra are provided by Dr Felicia D’Sylva. Dr D’Sylva is a very experienced clinical psychologist with her knowledge gained over many years through her work in child psychology, forensic psychology, and providing services to the general community through general practice. Maryam believes in the prevention of potentially harmful medical conditions. Her passion for nutrition and its link with chronic diseases was the motivating factor for choosing her career in medical research.
She started her journey by completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Manchester University in the UK, followed by a PhD in medicine at Melbourne University. She has over 15 years of research experience in inflammatory chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and chronic pain. Maryam has numerous publications including a book, has been employed in major hospitals in Melbourne and has been involved in teaching throughout her career. In 2014, she decided to further advance her skills by completing a Master’s degree in Dietetics at Monash University.
Maryam offers her clients the most recent research findings and necessary guidance so they can make an informed decision about their current treatment plan and future health goals. Her nutritional counselling is positive and tailored to suit her client’s needs in supporting their goals towards improving their quality of life. She also has a good understanding of Persian culture and can consult Farsi-speaking clients.

She also provides hearing health education to GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and the local community.

Nick is a physiotherapist from Melbourne with a strong background in elite sport having worked for the past 10 years in professional football (soccer). Nick worked as a physiotherapist for Melbourne Heart FC / Melbourne City FC from 2012-16 and then moved to the USA to work as the High Performance Director for the Seattle Reign FC from 2016-2021. He moved back to Melbourne in 2021 to work as the head physio for the Melbourne Victory FC. Nick has also supported some of Australia’s leading runners on training camp in California and Australia, and has spent time in Japan & New Zealand working with individual athletes.
Nick has a strong interest in treating lower back & neck pain as well as sports & lifestyle injuries.
He has a dual physiotherapy and strength & conditioning background and specialises in high-level athlete rehab.
